I just love the variety of the kids patterns! The children I sew for love to wear the clothes I make.

(I left comment before but it wasn’t added. I just try again and hope to be in time)

I love that you get so many patterns in a range of sizes, all in the one place. There is always something to inspire me.

  4. Christine November 19, 2014

I love the Ottobre patterns because they always look great, and the photos are always wonderful for inspiration! The instructions are (usually) clear and easy to follow, so even if you don’t have experience making something you can still work your way through and end up with a great item! I have to admit that I haven’t shopped around, I started making clothes for the kids from Ottobre patterns and haven’t strayed….there are always new patterns for me to try from the almost 4 years worth of magazines I have collected!

  5. Ineke November 19, 2014

I love Ottobre! The basic patterns are just great and it’s the simplicity of each model that displays all the beautifull fabrics they use very well. Did I say I LOVE fabrics too? ;) The magazine learned me how to sew knits, showed me how patterns work and inspires me to think beyond what’s ’ normal’ fashion. It gives me lots of inspiration! My kids are the happy beneficiaries!

  6. Karin November 19, 2014

I just love the patterns of Ottobre. Almost every issue has few patters that I just have to make. I make for the kids of a friend and they love it.

  7. Sunrae Baillie November 18, 2014

Ottobre is my favourite magazine. The clothes are comfy and modern and great to sew.

  15. Yvy November 17, 2014

I started sewing with Otto (yup, jumped in the deep end!) and I think it’s great because they have sizes from babies right up to teens and sometimes even adults in the one magazine and it is absolutely value for money! I honestly do know know of another magazine that offers this many patterns for this prize and it’s so easy to modify according to your child. Plus I’m bias – I love paper patterns!!! ;)

  16. Tas November 17, 2014

I love the versatility of sizes and styles. And I have a soft spot for Finland as I lived there for a year of my mis-spent youth so love to support their crafting economy.

  22. Lee Cornelius November 17, 2014
