Sewing up some Socks!

A number of years ago I did a blog post here ....

about sewing socks- and people went nuts over it. It was pretty unheard of back in 2011  to sew your own socks! Now of course there are quite a few more patterns on the market and more and more are giving it a whirl, and so they should- sewing socks is the perfect quick little project for those times when you are too busy to commit to anything bigger.

Socks are pretty economical too, I can make 2-3 pairs from 1/2 metre of our knits. I also use our smooth ribbing as the cuff and they are super comfy.  But the real reason I like to make socks?? So I can have cool designs!

The socks above were made using the Wolf and the Tree Going Rogue sock pattern- it's very simply and a quick sew.

Have you sewn socks?  Keen to?  I'd love to hear!
